  • Can Babies Wear Sunscreen?
    The most frequently asked question we receive is whether sunscreen is safe for infants under 6 months old. The short answer is: sometimes The long answer is: that there is currently limited research on the safety of sunscreen on infants below 6 months of age. The general recommendation is that infants (<6 months) should be kept out of direct sunlight and be covered with protective clothing to avoid sunburns. However, this recommendation comes primarily from the fact that infants overheat easily and applying sunscreen could potentially result in greater sun exposure, or greater risk of overheating. Another reason for this recommendation is due to infants’ delicate skin being more vulnerable to chemicals. Yet, Safe4Kidz sunscreen is formulated with zinc oxide, a natural physical UV filter that is not absorbed by our bodies. Zinc oxide considered safe for infants, and is even present at up to 40% in nappy creams. So, if there is a situation where other methods of sun protection are not available the safest option for your baby is our gentle product which uses 100% organic, 100% vegan and chemical-filter-free ingredients. From 6 months and beyond, our KIDS and Babies & Toddlers remains the safest option for children as once again, it is not absorbed by our bodies and is the only broad-spectrum active ingredient considered safe and effective by the FDA.
  • Is Safe4Kidz Vegan?
    Absolutely! We are certified by Vegecert to be 100% Vegan, and audited by pharmchem technical services to NSF/ANSI 305-2016 declaring us completely organic. Our sunscreens are as natural as the plants they’re made of, and perfect for sensitive skin.
  • What is the texture like?
    Our sunscreen is very easy to apply, ensuring a proper coverage, it is smooth, won't leave a sticky residue, ideal for those with sensory needs.
  • Is Safe4Kidz water resistant?
    Yes! Our sunscreens are tested to 40 minutes water resistant, but always remember to reapply when you’re done swimming or towelling off to get the best protection possible.
  • Can adults wear your sunscreen?
    For sure! Safe4Kidz was designed with little ones in mind, but will work absolutely perfectly on adults skin too.
  • What SPF is your sunscreen?

  • Is Zinc Oxide Safe?
    Yes! Not only is zinc oxide safe, but it has actually been called a 'miracle mineral' due to its anti-bacterial and wound healing properties. In fact, most diaper rash creams are around 40% zinc oxide!
  • Is Safe4Kidz good for sensitive skin?
    Absolutely, with a nourishing combination of hypoallergenic, non-nano zinc oxide, vitamin E. Our sunscreen is perfect for soothing and protecting even the most delicate of skin.
  • Are your products safe for kids and baby?
    Yes, our products are safe for kids and baby. We take great care in formulating our sunscreens to ensure they are gentle yet effective for young, sensitive skin. Our products are made with high-quality, skin-nourishing ingredients, suitable for children's delicate skin. We recommend using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 50 to protect against both UVA and UVB rays. However, as with any product applied on a child's skin, we advise first doing a patch test to check for any sensitivities and consulting with a pediatrician if you have any concerns.
  • Are your products allergy-friendly?

  • Is Anti Mosquito Sunscreen suitable for children below 3 years of age?
    We do not recommend using any insect repellent on children under 3 years of age. Therefore, containing anti-mozzie ingredients, we do not recommend to use our anti-mozzie sunscreen on children under 3 years of age.
